Robbie Currie (he/him) has worked in the sexual and reproductive health and HIV sector for 30 years. He is currently the Sexual and Reproductive Health Programme lead for the London Borough of Bexley, where he has worked for the last 10 years. During this time, Robbie was seconded to the Association of Directors of Public Health London as the Strategic Lead for Sexual Health and was the Chair of the English HIV and Sexual Health Commissioners Group.
Robbie was a member of the Programme Oversight Board for the national Prep-Impact trial until May 2019. He has been involved with NICE to update their PH Guidance on increasing HIV testing in 2015/6 and the Quality Standards that followed soon thereafter and is currently a panel member on their guidance update to reduce sexually transmitted infections. Robbie is also a co-opted member of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health Council and was, until September 2020, the Vice-Chair of aidsmap (NAM) the HIV information charity. He also serves a Trustee of East Midlands Sexual Health charity.
Robbie serves as Treasurer and finance lead for the Board.
Robbie became a Trustee of the Sex Education Forum in April 2021.
