Alison Hadley OBE (she/her) is Chair of Trustees and a Life Member of the Sex Education Forum, having worked with Sex Education Forum since its foundation in 1987. She has been a passionate advocate for young people’s rights to RSE and good sexual and reproductive health for over 30 years. Alison is Director of the Teenage Pregnancy Knowledge Exchange at the University of Bedfordshire which she established after leading the previous Labour Government’s successful ten-year Teenage Pregnancy Strategy.
She was previously Head of Policy for Brook, the UK’s leading sexual health charity for young people. Alison was Teenage Pregnancy Advisor to Public Health England from 2013-2021 and works closely with the World Health Organisation to help replicate lessons of the teenage pregnancy strategy and promote high-quality RSE internationally. She is the author of Teenage Pregnancy and Young Parenthood: effective policy and practice, published by Routledge in 2018.
Alison became a Trustee of the Sex Education Forum in April 2021.
